Build an Outpost Defense

Defend a desert outpost through waves of critters; each wave cleared drops a supply crate with a question.

Players pick a hero and defend the outpost at the centre of a desert arena. Critters walk in through four gates and head for the outpost; the hero's blaster aims and fires by itself, so players focus on moving, dodging and dashing. Clear a wave and a supply crate drops with one of your questions.

  • Right answer: points, plus a choice of three upgrades — rapid fire, spread shot, power rounds, a shield, an outpost repair, faster movement, a sentry turret or an extra heart.
  • Wrong answer (or time runs out): the right answer and its explanation, and a small outpost repair so the run carries on.
  • Enemies: slow cactus slimes, fast bats that chase the hero, tough beetles and robots that shoot back. The last wave ends with a boss.
  • Losing: the run ends if the outpost falls or the hero runs out of hearts.
  • On phones: a joystick appears wherever the player touches, and a DASH button sits bottom-right. On computers: WASD or arrow keys, the mouse to aim, Space to dash.
  1. Write your questions

In Supply drops, add questions or use Generate with AI. One drops after every wave except the last, so 5 waves ask 4 questions. With more waves than questions, questions repeat.

  2. Add explanations

The explanation shows after every answer, and missed questions come back on the results screen with the right answer.

  3. Brand it

Upload your logo — it flies on the outpost flag and sits on the start screen. Your primary colour paints the flag and buttons.

  4. Tune the defence

In Waves & audio, set the number of waves (3–8), hero hearts, enemy speed, seconds to answer each supply drop, points per correct answer and the pass score.
